Logistics Assessment

One of PLG's core services for shipper clients is the logistics assessment, which can be mode-specific, region-specific, or fully comprehensive.  As part of the Assessment, PLG experts provide objective, data-driven analysis of your freight spend, logistics assets, supporting infrastructure, personnel deployment, logistics management processes, and use of technology.  
 

Improve Asset Allocation

Assessment results are then used to identify and prioritize cost-out and efficiency improvements, which PLG is able to implement with or for the Client.  Assessment results can also be used to validate or redirect corporate supply chain, marketing, site selection, and/or procurement strategy.
 

Benchmarking

A key element of the Logistics Assessment is benchmarking, in which PLG provides a comparison of our Client's logistics spend and practices against industry peers.
