Anne is a high-energy executive leader with 20  years of supply chain experience as part of the Consulting and Third Party Logistics industries.  In her most recent executive position as Vice President of Supply Chain Engineering at NAL Worldwide, a $100mm non-asset based third-party logistics provider, Anne was accountable for developing and articulating service value propositions, designing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives, managing client engagements, building cost models and pricing strategies, and supporting new business implementations.  She brings extensive expertise in supply chain strategy development, financial modeling, and logistics implementation to PLG clients.  

Ben is a registered Professional Engineer with over 30 years of experience in railroad design and engineering, including layout, track standards, materials, construction management, operations planning, site selection, feasibility studies, master planning, and infrastructure design. He has been the principal engineer on hundreds of rail projects, providing design guidance and construction oversight throughout the United States. Ben’s expertise also extends into the civil engineering areas associated with railroad development, including site permitting, storm water management, grade crossings, and roadway design. Ben is recognized in the railroad industry as a highly effective professional liaison, linking private site development needs to rail operations and service.

Gordon is an accomplished career logistics executive with over 35 years experience in petroleum, biofuels, and chemicals distribution. Prior to joining PLG Gordon spent over 20 years with Sunoco, Inc, where as the Director of Transportation he managed the transportation group’s annual freight and equipment budget of over $150MM and staff of 30+ employees and contractors. In addition to logistics strategy development, business process improvement, and extensive contract negotiations, Gordon also led the transportation due diligence assessment and subsequent acquisition and integration of eight chemical plants, 700 gasoline stations, and two refineries into Sunoco from 1996 through 2005.

Graham is the president and founder of Professional Logistics Group, Inc., a consulting and management services company focused on transportation, logistics, and supply chain. He formed the business in 2001 following a career in the railroad and trucking industries, where his various operations and business development roles helped to identify the market need for objective, expert consulting services for shippers, transportation companies, financial firms, government entities, and other stakeholders in the world of logistics.

Jean is an accomplished career logistics executive with over 30 years experience in the rail, distribution, and transportation consulting industries. She has in-depth expertise in a wide variety of disciplines, including executive leadership; logistics/railroad network operations and transportation analysis; problem solving and process simplification; systems design, development and implementation; business management; budgets, financial analysis and administration.

Jeff is a career logistics executive with over 35 years experience in plastics, chemicals, and petroleum distribution. Before joining PLG, Jeff spent over 20 years with ExxonMobil, where as the Americas Transportation Sourcing Manager he was responsible for a $300MM rail and truck transportation budget as well as all equipment purchases and leases. Jeff also spent six years with BASF as Group Logistics Manager where he successfully led the implementation of SAP for logistics functions at the company. During his tenure at PLG, Jeff has been involved in nearly every major Client engagement in the chemicals and plastics sector.

Kathy is an accomplished career logistics executive with over 25 years experience in the transportation industry. Prior to joining PLG, Kathy spent 20 years with CSX Transportation where she successfully managed a large portfolio of accounts with a value of $30MM. In assisting shippers, Kathy has negotiated transportation contracts of up to $200MM across all modes. She has key relationships with the marketing and operating departments of all the major North American railroads. Kathy has also has developed barge, port and terminal contacts and works with crane owners, riggers and related professionals on dimensional and project cargo shipments. She has a strong background in developing and implementing innovative solutions for logistical challenges and an outstanding record of performance in contract negotiations and strategies.

Melba is an experienced Logistics professional with special expertise in optimizing global logistics costs, operations and systems. During her career, Melba has implemented supply chain solutions to and from North America, Europe, East Asia, the Middle East, and South America, leveraging key relationships, exceptional negotiating skills, and deep knowledge of carriers, ports, customs authorities, and third-party logistics providers throughout the world. Melba is fluent in English and Spanish and a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.

Mike Alston is a highly accomplished transportation operations and compliance manager with over 27 years of experience in regulatory affairs, supply chain management, logistics, distribution, transportation auditing, and barge, rail, motor carrier, and transloading and terminal operations. His special expertise is in the handling, safety, security and regulatory compliance of hazardous materials, and he brings to PLG clients an excellent knowledge of DOT, IATA, IMDG, USCG, OSHA, and TDG laws and regulations. Mike has extensive experience in regulatory compliance and safety audits, training, monitoring, and reporting for shippers, production facilities, transloading terminals, warehouses, rail terminals, and rail, water, and motor carrier operations.

Mike possesses over 22 years of international transportation and logistics experience. His particular expertise is in international freight forwarding, intermodal freight, ocean/air freight, and import/export regulations. He is also highly experienced in operations and materials management, including just-in-time inventory control, lean manufacturing, and strategic vendor management.

Mike’s professional career began at Swagelok Company, a global industry-leading manufacturer of fluid power components. Mike held leadership positions within operations, logistics, distribution, and supply chain management. As the NA Distribution Manager, he was responsible for two domestic and four international distribution sites, a global transportation budget, and management of the company’s import/export compliance program. In 2003 Mike joined Jo-Ann Stores, Inc. where he developed and implemented an import container model utilizing third party logistics (3PL) solutions for the company’s annual flow of over 18,000 TEUs. 

Robert Levy’s 27-year career spans Logistics and Transportation, Industrial Development, Private Equity investing and Materials Management. Robert has eight years experience working with private equity as an operating partner and board director, 12 years in seaport and surface transportation operations and capital projects, six years in big ticket development and optimization in mining, metallurgy, pulp and paper. Robert’s private equity experience includes funds with $450MM-$2B under management, portfolio company revenues to $350MM and individual career capital project values to $2B.

Rodney has over 23 years of supply chain, transportation and distribution and consulting experience with a focus on strategic network design and inventory optimization - utilizing technology to drive supply chain improvements. Prior to joining PLG, Rodney was VP of Supply Chain and Infrastructure at Colliers and previously he was the Corporate Logistics Engineering Director for True Value Company and held several operations, consulting, and logistics management positions during his early career with United Parcel Service and UPS Supply Chain Solutions.

Roger is career freight railroad executive with over 35 years of experience in Class I, short line, and regional railroad management and ownership. Prior to joining PLG, Roger was the founder and managing partner of North American RailNet, Inc. (NAR), a privately owned short line railroad holding company with six railroads operating in ten U.S. states and the Province of Alberta, Canada. Prior to NAR, Roger spent over 25 years with Burlington Northern Railroad and BNSF Railway, where he held various management and executive management positions in Operations, Engineering, Marketing, and Safety.
